Helmet models and helmet paints
MX Bikes helmet mods come in two flavors. Helmet models replace the 3D shape, visor and goggles, while helmet paints re-skin an existing shape with new colors and graphics. Paint packs are usually the cheapest way to refresh your look, and many creators bundle several colorways in one download.
Pair a helmet with matching rider gear and a bike livery to build a complete factory-style package, or choose a one-off custom design for your online racing number.
What to look for
Make sure the paint targets the helmet model you actually use. Check whether goggles and visor are included, and whether the listing shows the helmet from several angles in-game.
What to check before you buy
- Which helmet model does the paint require?
- Are goggle straps and visors included or customizable?
- How many colorways are in the pack?
- Is a PSD provided for custom graphics?
- Does the creator offer matching gear?
Helmets & Goggles FAQ
What is the difference between a helmet model and a helmet paint?
A model changes the 3D shape; a paint only changes textures on an existing shape. Paints are smaller and cheaper.
Can I put my own number on a helmet?
If a PSD template is included you can. Otherwise ask the creator for a custom version.
Do helmets work online?
Cosmetic mods are usually visible to other players only if the server allows them. Check the server rules.
