What are MX Bikes setups?
A setup is a saved tuning file for a bike in MX Bikes: suspension clickers, spring preload, gearing, tyre pressure and more. Good setups are built and tested for a specific bike and track type, so you can load them and ride instead of tuning for hours.
On PitSwap you can filter setups by bike, using the models of the OEM pack: Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Suzuki, Fantic and more. Pick your bike, then sort by price, popularity or date.
How to choose
Always check the exact bike the setup was made for, the track type (sand, hard pack, supercross, freeride) and the game version. Setups made for a different bike will not load or will feel wrong. Ask the creator which rider weight and style it targets.
What to check before you buy
- Which exact bike is the setup made for?
- Which track type and conditions?
- Which rider weight and style?
- Which game version?
- Does the creator offer adjustments?
Setups FAQ
Where do I put an MX Bikes setup file?
Setup files go into the setups folder of the matching bike in your MX Bikes profile folder. The creator should explain it.
Will a setup for the 450 work on the 250?
Usually no. Setups are specific to one bike model.
Can I sell my own setups?
Yes, if they are your own work. Choose the Setups category and select the bike.
